Epsom salt has long been revered by our grandparents and great grandparents. After working long hours at the factory, in the field, and around the home, they knew to go straightaway to the Epsom salt soak. Maybe grandma would pull a large milk pail out (empty of milk, of course) and fill it with hot water. She'd pour a cup or two of Epsom Salt into the water, something she picked up from the local drug store.
As the family sat around the parlor room, grandma would soak her feet in the Epsom salt-water solution while she knitted a sweater. A little history and intro into Epsom Salt:

You're still soaking in Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate). One way or another, you're getting the magnesium you need, it's just coming into the body from a different area. It'll still go to the areas that need it the most.
