Updates as of October 7, 2020:
Blue Oceans Float has re-opened for our normal hours of
Tuesdays - Sundays
10am - 9pm
Our last floats begin at 7:30pm.
We do not require our floaters to wear masks into the float shop or during their float sessions. You are welcome to make your own choice whether you want to wear a mask or not.
Due to recent Covid-19 developments
Blue Oceans Float will be closed from March 23 - April 7.
We trust the advice from our industry leaders and researchers for making this decision. It's a hard one to make, as floating is a perfect way to take the edge off this stressful situation right now. We have not been ordered to close but feel it our civic duty and ethical duty to do so, to facilitate social distancing and help stop the spread of the Covid-19.
So, while we're unable to provide floats for our 'ohana, we will continue to do what we can to support the community and floaters.
In the meantime, please stay tuned on our website and any of our social media channels for updates, advice on relaxation activities you can do during your "social isolation", and fun and quirky tidbits to brighten your day. We're still here for you!
Float memberships will be put on hold for now.
No one will be charged while we are closed.
If you are a float member and interested in keeping your membership active, however, to help out the staff and Blue Oceans Float during our closure, call/text 531-365-2154, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can keep your membership active while we are closed and we will donate half of all membership payments made during our closure to float staff, and the other half will go to keeping the tanks maintained.
All floats accumulated while we are closed will be shareable with your guests and never expire.
If we do not hear from you, we will automatically put your membership on hold.
During our temporary closure, we will be offering $45 60 minute floats and $60 90 minute floats.
AND gift cards!
We know many other people are out of work and without a stable income source. This is just one way we want to try to help people out. So stock up on floats now so you can use them to de-stress and heal once we open back up.
Like float memberships, half of the sales made during our closure will be donated to staff and the rest will be put towards float tank and shop maintenance.
Other ways to support us and so many other small businesses at this time are:
Buy local, get gift cards to use for later and hand out to those who need a little R&R.
Get take out from restaurants offering that service right now, and be patient and understanding as they work around a new way of doing things.
Give YOURSELF plenty of down time, drink lots of fluids, get outside and go for walks. It's Spring time now, which means it's perfect for stocking up on all that outdoor time you missed out on over the year.
Mahalo once again for everyone's support these past 3 years. We look forward to seeing you very SOON for more floats!
